Cost Metrics

The Cost section of the Metrics sidebar shows:
  • Total cost of project
  • Cost of site functions, building, and parking
  • Average cost per sqf or sqm
  • Average yield per sqf or sqm
  • Total income of project
The total cost is shown as a percentage of budget beside the Cost section header.
Site, Building, and Parking cost is shown in dollars - to view as a percentage, hover on the corresponding section of the bar chart in the Cost section.

Setting a budget

To set a budget:
  1. Hover on the Cost section of the Metrics sidebar and click the settings button that appears in the top right. This will open the Cost Parameters menu.
  1. Enter a value in the Budget input
 

Setting cost per function/parking type

The total cost is calculated by multiplying a cost per sqf/sqm by the total area of site functions, building functions, and parking types.
To set the cost per function/parking type, open the Cost Parameters menu and on the Costs tab enter a value for each input in the Site Function - Cost per ft/m, Building Function - Cost per ft/m, and Parking Type - Cost per ft/m sections.
 

Setting income per function/parking type

The total income is calculated by multiplying a cost per sqf/sqm by the total area of building functions.
To set the cost per building function, open the Cost Parameters menu and on the Income tab enter a value for each input in the Building Function - Income for ft/m section.
