Comments

Creating a comment

To create a new comment comment thread:
  1. Select the comment tool from the toolbar or use the shortcut C
  1. Click on an element, somewhere on a view, or somewhere on a board to create a new comment.
  1. Add your comment text and then press Enter or click the send button
Comments added to elements stay attached to them, so if you move the element the attached comment will move with it!
 
 

Replying to a comment

To reply to a comment:
  1. Open a comment in the project by clicking on a comment bubble in a view or on a board
  1. Add your reply text and then press Enter or click the send button
 
 

Resolving a comment

To resolve to a comment:
  1. Open a comment in the project by clicking on a comment bubble in a view or on a board
  1. Click the checkmark button in the top right of the comment
 
 

Editing a comment or reply

To edit a comment or reply:
  1. Open a comment in the project by clicking on a comment bubble in a view or on a board
  1. Hover on the comment or reply you wish to edit and click the ... menu to the right of the commenter’s name. Select Edit
  1. Make your changes and then press Enter or click the save button
 
 

Deleting a reply

To delete a comment:
  1. Open a comment in the project by clicking on a comment bubble in a view or on a board
  1. Hover on reply you wish to delete and click the ... menu to the right of the commenter’s name. Select Delete
  1. Click Delete on the confirmation overlay.
 
 

Deleting a comment

To delete a comment:
  1. Open a comment in the project by clicking on a comment bubble in a view or on a board
  1. Click the trashcan button in the top right of the comment
  1. Click Delete on the confirmation overlay.
 

The comment sidebar

Whenever the comment tool is active, the comment sidebar is shown on the right side. All comments in the project are shown in the sidebar, and you can click on any comment to navigate to it. Hovering on a comment in the sidebar shows the delete and resolve buttons, giving you an alternative way to perform those functions.
 

Show/Hide resolved comments

Resolved comments are hidden by default. To show them, click the ... menu in the top right of the comment sidebar and select Show resolved . To hide resolved comments, select Show resolved again.
 

Hide/Show comments

Comments are visible by default. To hide them, click the ... menu in the top right of the comment sidebar and select Hide comments.
Alternatively, you can open the main menu dropdown and go to View → Comments , or use the shortcut Shift + C to toggle comments being hidden or shown.
