Versions are auto-saved every 5 minutes of active editing (no auto-saves during inactivity), but you can manually save versions as well.

Viewing version history

To view the version history for a project, go to Main menu → File → Show version history.

The version history is shown in the right sidebar.

Saving a version

To save a version:

  1. Go to Main menu → File → Save to version history. Alternatively, click the + button in the Version History sidebar.
  2. Enter a name for the version and click Save. A confirmation toast will be shown (”Saved to version history”) and the new version will appear in the version sidebar if the sidebar is open.

Renaming a version

To rename a version, click the version name in the version history sidebar. Press Escape to exit and discard a current name edit, and press Enter to commit an edit.

Restoring a version

To restore a version, hover on a version name in the version sidebar and click the restore button that appears while hovering. Restored versions are created as new projects.
