The rotate tool allows you to rotate elements around a particular point.

Freeform rotating

To rotate an element:

  1. Click the down arrow to the right of the cursor button in the toolbar and select Rotate from the dropdown. Alternatively you can use shortcut Q
  2. If you do not currently have an element selected, select the element you wish to rotate. If you already have 1 or more elements selected continue to step 3.
  3. Click to place the center point that you would like to rotate around. This can be anywhere on the selected element(s), other elements, or somewhere on the active level.
  4. Click to place the rotation start point
  5. Click to place the rotation end point

Rotating a specified angle

While performing a rotation you will see a reference line appear between center point and the rotation end point. The input that shows on the reference line allows you to specify the exact angle you would like to rotate the element.

Enter the angle you would like to rotate and then press Enter or click to commit the value.
