Setting project north

Setting a project north is useful for a few reasons:

• Ortho snapping will be aligned to project north
• Floor plan views will be aligne to project north by default
• Clicking the compass button will orient your view to project north after it is set

To set project north:

1. Go to main menu → Project → Project North
2. Click to place the first point for the north arrow vector
3. Click to place the second point for the north arrow vector. You’ll see a pink arrow indicating project north direction while placing the second point.
