Arcol currently supports importing both 2D and 3D DWG/DXFs.

Import

To import a DWG/DXF:

1. Drag and drop a DWG/DXF into your project or go to main menu → File → Import → DWG/DXF.
2. Click the Choose a file button in the menu that appears to open the file browser. Select the DWG/DXF you wish to import and click the Open button on the menu.
3. Set the desired positioning and units. Units should match the units used in the DWG/DXF file. Click Import.
4. If you selected Manual positioning in step 3, click anywhere in your project to place the DWG/DXF. If you selected Origin to center or Origin to origin positioning your model will be placed accordingly.

Imported DWG/DXFs may be snapped to using any of the Arcol tools (eg. Move, Rotate, Line)
