Exporting an Arcol project and using it in Revit requires downloading the project in the Arcol file format and using our Revit add-in to import that file into Revit. Arcol geometry is imported to Revit as native Revit geometry.

Site context → Imported as DirectShape

All other non-building geometry → Imported as Revit mass

Building geometry → Imported as levels, floors, ceilings, and generic walls

To export an Arcol project to Revit:

• Main menu → File → Download .arcol (put the downloaded file somewhere that’s easy to find when you need it later)
• Download the Revit add-in we sent you and follow the install instructions

Note: Arcol currently only supports exporting building geometry - terrain is not exported.
